Participating More
This week, I was able to participate a little bit more within the class. My MT informed me that her students are struggling with subtraction, so when she divided the class into breakout rooms I was able to help out in a couple with the work the students were assigned. I think, because Wednesday is an asynchronous day for the students, Thursday starts as a challenge to get the students get back on task and in the swing of the school day.
During the screen breaks I had the opportunity to explore the Classroom page on Google a little more, and interact with GoGuardian as well. I'm becoming very comfortable with these programs and my confidence is growing in how I will teach my lessons. I also had a chance to play around on Seesaw a little bit - figure out how to make assignments and assign them to students.
Overall, I'm feeling pretty confident for when it is my time to teach. I feel I am fortunate that the class I am in is very engaged, friendly, and they seem like they genuinely enjoy learning. Hopefully I can teach them something new and interesting!
Hey,
ReplyDeleteGaining the opportunity to assist is surely going to make your time of executing a lesson sort of an ease. The fact that you're able to identify where the disconnect from is a quality teacher trait. I am excited for you, take every chance you can get to participate- it's enhancing you as a future up and coming EC teacher.
